Performance characteristics
- High transparency: PC material has very high transparency, and the optical transparency can reach more than 90%.
- Impact resistance: PC has excellent impact resistance and is one of the most impact-resistant materials among all engineering plastics.
- Thermal stability: It can be used in a wide temperature range, and the general PC temperature range is around 115°C.
- Dimensional stability: Due to its small thermal expansion coefficient, PC has good dimensional stability.
- Electrical insulation: PC has good electrical insulation properties.

Manufacturing Process
The continuous carbon fiber bundle is released through the yarn unwinding device, spread evenly through the yarn spreading device, and then enters the impregnation system to be impregnated with the molten PC resin under high temperature and high pressure. Finally, it is shaped through the hot pressing and cooling device to form a PC resin carbon fiber thermoplastic unidirectional tape.
