CFRT Facing

Continuous fibers are combined with thermoplastic resins to create durable, lightweight and durable UD prepreg tapes, which are then thermal laminated together at set angles to form CFRT sheets with improved performance. CFRT laminates are known for their excellent mechanical properties, including high strength-to-weight ratio, good impact resistance, and resistance to environmental factors such as moisture and chemicals.

Thermoplastic Composite Technology Improves Performance and Reduces Costs

PET foam CFRT sandwich panels abandon the glue bonding process and adopt the same thermoplastic composite technology as thermoplastic honeycomb panels. That is, by heating the CFRT sheet and PET foam, the CFRT is in a melted state. Due to the large surface cell size of PET foam, the melted CFRT can penetrate deeply into the PET foam. After cooling and hardening, they form a whole and are very strong. If hot melt adhesive film is added, the composite effect will be better. Compared with glue-bonded PET sandwich panels, it has better high-temperature resistance and waterproof performance, and lower manufacturing cost.
