Carbon fiber honeycomb sandwich panels are composite materials that are both lightweight and high-strength. It is made of carbon fiber prepreg and polypropylene honeycomb core bonded by adhesive film. The polypropylene honeycomb core is tightly bonded to the upper and lower carbon fiber plates to form a sandwich structure. The excellent performance of the polypropylene honeycomb core in bending stiffness and strength and the impact resistance of the carbon fiber sheet realize the perfect combination of stiffness and strength of the panel.

Polypropylene Honeycomb Core
Polypropylene honeycomb is a lightweight, yet strong, core material often used in sandwich panel construction. It consists of a core structure made from polypropylene (PP) arranged in a honeycomb pattern, which provides high strength-to-weight ratios. This material is widely used in various industries due to its excellent mechanical properties, impact resistance, and durability.

Carbon Fiber Prepreg
Carbon fiber prepreg is a composite material that is made by compositing resin on carbon fiber through high pressure and high temperature technology. It is made of carbon fiber yarn, epoxy resin, and other materials through coating, hot pressing, cooling, laminating and other processes. We have various types of carbon fiber prepregs, including carbon fiber thermoplastic unidirectional prepreg composites and carbon fiber woven fabric prepregs.
Surface Textures
Through different weaving combinations (such as combining plain and twill, or adding other fibers such as Kevlar fibers, etc.), different carbon fiber surface textures can be customized to enhance visual beauty and optimize performance according to mechanical requirements.

Applications of Carbon Fiber Honeycomb Sandwich Panels
Carbon fiber honeycomb sandwich panels are widely used in various industries due to their excellent combination of light weight, high strength and stiffness.
- Automobile: Used for body panels, floors and other structural parts to maximize speed and flexibility by reducing weight.
- Marine: Used in the construction of high-performance ships, yachts and racing boats, providing excellent stiffness and impact resistance.
- Sporting Goods: Used in various paddle rackets and backboards to reduce weight while maintaining stiffness and strength. Such as pickleball rackets, table tennis tables, basketball backboards, etc.
- Solar Panels: In solar applications, carbon fiber honeycomb panels provide lightweight support structures for solar arrays and concentrators, improving the durability and efficiency of solar devices.
