We know that closed-cell PVC foam is a high-performance material with a wide range of applications due to its high stiffness, high strength-to-weight ratio, high toughness, low water absorption and chemical resistance. Grooved PVC foam surface treatment into grooves can enhance its adhesion or bending properties with the surface layer, providing better adhesion for further processing.
Double-sided Grooved PVC Foam
It is grooved on both sides with the opposite grid offset by 50%. It has flexible bending properties for curved applications and can be vacuum bonded without the need for fiber gauze on the bottom. Assembling the grid groove material in the bending mold can make the groove closed. This design can reduce resin absorption, reduce resin shrinkage, and reduce surface marks.

Grooved and Perforated PVC Foam
The foam sheet has grooves and perforations on one side and only perforations on the other side. It was developed to allow fluids to flow and hold quickly over flat or slightly curved surfaces while minimizing surface marking.
