The fiberglass skin foam sandwich panel we developed combines the advantages of thermosetting fiberglass, thermoplastic fiberglass and XPS (extruded polystyrene) foam, and adds materials that enhance structural performance, so that the performance of the ambulance box can be fully utilized.

  • Thermal insulation.
  • Lightweight & high strength.
  • Waterproof and moisture-proof.
  • Smooth surface.
  • Weather Resistant.

Schematic Diagram

  • Thermosetting FRP

Anti-UV Gel coat FRP has excellent weather resistance. It is used as the outer skin with high rigidity and smooth surface, making the ambulance look shiny and easy to clean and maintain.

  • Thermoplastic FRP (CFRT)

CFRT is a continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite sheet, it has good toughness, impact resistance, wear resistance, so it is more durable. Using it as the inner skin of the ambulance body can significantly increase its service life.

  • XPS Foam

Closed-cell XPS foam has high compressive strength, excellent thermal insulation and does not absorb water. Therefore, it can maintain stable performance as a panel core material for a long time.

  • Waterproof Plywood

Waterproof plywood can adapt to humid environments and effectively resist moisture. As a reinforcing structural material, it is embedded in the box panels to enhance the strength of the box panels and make their connections more firmly.
