Product Features
- High tensile and flexural strength
Since the glass fibers are arranged unidirectionally, the main reinforcement of the material is along the fiber direction, showing extremely high strength when subjected to tension. The design of unidirectional fiber reinforcement makes this prepreg tape particularly suitable for applications requiring high tensile strength and rigidity.
- High temperature resistance
PA resin itself has good heat resistance. By adopting high-temperature polyamide resins such as PA66, the temperature resistance of thermoplastic composites can reach above 150°C. These composites can maintain stable performance in high temperature environments and are suitable for applications that require high temperature resistance and high loads.
- Chemical corrosion resistance
PA resin has good chemical corrosion resistance, especially in environments with corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, oils and solvents, and can be used stably for a long time. Glass fiber reinforcement further improves the chemical corrosion resistance.
- Reprocessing
Due to its thermoplastic properties, PA unidirectional tape is suitable for a variety of molding processes such as hot pressing, molding, pultrusion, etc. Composite parts of various shapes and sizes, such as plates, tubes, thin strips, etc., can be easily produced.
