PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) foam is recognized as the most promising new composite material for development now and in the future because of its environmental friendliness and sustainability. As a substitute for wood and metal materials, PET foam core FRP sandwich panels have become the first choice for achieving lightweighting in many industries while maintaining excellent performance and economic efficiency.
Main Features
- Lightweight
The PET foam core reduces the overall weight of the panel without compromising strength.
- High Strength
The FRP layer offers excellent rigidity and durability.
- Corrosion Resistant
The FRP layer is waterproof and chemically resistant.
- Easy to Clean
The surface of the FRP layer is flat and smooth, and dust is not easily attached.

FRP Facing
The smooth FRP panel is a high-strength material made of glass fiber and resin matrix through a composite process. It has excellent characteristics such as lightweight, high strength, corrosion resistance and aging resistance.

PET Foam Core
We provide both virgin and recycled PET foam cores depending on application requirements.
Applications
PET foam FRP sandwich panels are widely used as wall panels, floors, partitions, roof panels, etc. in various industries. Common applications include:
- Box trucks.
- Yachts and boats.
- Buses.
- Mobile buildings.
- High-speed rail.
- Trains.
- Aeronautical.
- Box trailers.
- RVs.
- Cargo boxes.
- Cabinets.
- Room doors.
- Guardrails, etc.

Production and Processing
Customized PET foam core FRP sandwich panels are available in panel size, facing material and core material specifications.
- One-piece vacuum composite process: The sandwich panel is laminated under high pressure in a vacuum environment. The surface of the panel after molding is flat, tightly bonded, and the strength is far superior to ordinary composite panels.
- Extraordinary size customization: The size of the composite panel can reach 12mx3.2m. (The current maximum size of the container is 40 feet (12.03 meters)
- Any shape can be processed: High-precision CNC processing can meet any personalized design needs and maintain the consistency of product precision.

We also provide XPS (Polyethylene Terephthalate), PU (Polyurethane), PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) foam core FRP sandwich panels. For more information, please consult us.
