TOPOLOGROUP has developed fiberglass sandwich panels with nylon release fabric specifically designed for marine flooring. These floors are manufactured using advanced composite technology to provide excellent performance in extreme marine environments. As substrates for marine vessel decks, these fiberglass sandwich panels are often used together with EVA foam to ensure greater durability and comfort of the flooring system.

Common Applications

  • Yacht decks.
  • Cruise ship floors.
  • Sailboat decks.
  • Water entertainment platforms.

These fiberglass sandwich panels are highly resistant to seawater corrosion and can cope with the challenges of marine climates such as humidity and salt spray. Their structures are not only strong and durable, but also have good compressive strength and impact resistance, ensuring long-term and stable use in harsh marine environments.

Function of the Release Cloth

The surface of FRP is covered with a layer of nylon release cloth. This special release cloth plays a role of protection and isolation when laying the surface foam floor. During the construction process, the operator only needs to gently tear off the release cloth to expose the FRP surface, providing a flat and smooth foundation for the installation of the foam floor. The nylon release cloth not only effectively avoids stains and scratches during the construction process, but also ensures that the FRP surface is not affected by the external environment during transportation and storage.

Types of Composite Marine Flooring

PET Foam Core Panels

Rigid closed-cell PET foam is suitable for marine environments that require high corrosion resistance and light weight due to its excellent non-absorbent, environmentally friendly, corrosion-resistant and lightweight properties.

Plywood Core Panels

After waterproof and fireproof treatment, marine plywood not only has high structural strength but also has a long service life in the marine environment. It is widely used in marine facilities that require high mechanical strength and safety.
