CFRT skin PET foam core sandwich panels are lightweight, durable, waterproof and moisture-proof, and recyclable. Many advantages make it the first choice for more and more lightweight caravan manufacturers to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
The front and rear of a caravan are usually curved. This streamlined design enhances its overall aesthetics and improves aerodynamics, reducing drag when towing. However, this design makes caravans more difficult to build. Usually, people use a variety of materials such as metal (aluminum, steel), wood, plastic, etc. to achieve curved panels, but this often increases manufacturing costs but does not perform well.
Bendable PET foam core sandwich panels are a low-cost, viable solution. Cutting a groove of a certain depth on one side of the sandwich panel can achieve the required bending range. The good rigidity of the CFRT material makes the panel still have extremely high strength after bending.
