Enclosed Trailer Panels
Provide More Outstanding Performance
Home » Truck & Trailer Solutions » Truck & Trailer Composite Panels

Fiberglass sandwich panel structures greatly improve the performance and safety of trailers.
Composite panels are increasingly being used in enclosed trailers. These panels are far superior to metal panels in terms of structural strength and durability. Among them, fiberglass sandwich panels are particularly outstanding, making them an ideal material for building high-level enclosed trailers.
- The use of new fiberglass reinforced sheets makes enclosed trailers lighter, more durable, more impact-resistant, and has stronger insulation, sound insulation and corrosion resistance.
- Different core materials provide different performance advantages for enclosed trailers.

How to Choose the Right Enclosed Trailer Panels
01 Thermoplastic FRP vs Thermosetting FRP
TOPOLOGROUP supplies thermosetting FRP and thermoplastic FRP (also called CFRT), which have their own performance advantages and are applied to different types of enclosed trailers and different parts of trailers according to application requirements.

Thermosetting FRP Sheet
Specifications
- Thickness: 0.7-5.0mm.
- Width: ≤2.8m.
Features
- Smooth surface
- High hardness

Thermoplastic FRP Sheet
Specifications
- Thickness: 0.7-2.0mm.
- Width: ≤2.6m.
Features
- High rigidity.
- Scratch resistance.
02 Thermal Insulation Series Composite Panels
These panels have low thermal conductivity foam core materials (XPS, PU, PVC, etc.), which provide excellent thermal insulation performance.
Application: Refrigerated trailers
Used to transport perishable goods such as vegetables, fruits, flowers, meat, seafood, dairy products, medical equipment, etc., or equipment with specific temperature requirements, to provide a stable, low-temperature environment during transportation to ensure the freshness of the goods.

- Thickness: 10-150mm.
- Width: ≤12m.
- Length: ≤2.8m.
Features
- Thermal insulation.
- Compression resistance.
- Non-absorption.
- Flame retardant.
03 Lightweight Series Composite Panels
These panels use lightweight and high-strength core materials (PET foam, polypropylene honeycomb, plywood).
Application: Dry cargo trailers
Suitable for a wide variety of products, especially those that are not affected by environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity.

PET Foam Sandwich Panels
