PET foam composite panels are ideal for lightweight box truck bodies, offering multiple advantages
- Core Material: The core is made of recycled PET foam with a density ranging from 60 to 300 kg/m³. PET foam is a sustainable material with high compressive strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance.
- Surface Material: Continuous fiber – reinforced thermoplastic sheets (CFRT sheets) are used as the surface material. They are made by laying continuous fiber thermoplastic unidirectional prepreg tapes at different angles (90°/0°), and the surface is covered with a polymer protective film. This gives the panels excellent anti – deformation, durability, scratch – resistance, and waterproof properties.
