Composite RV Flooring is The Trend

The design of modern RV flooring should not only take into account aesthetics and comfort, but also focus on material performance and long-term reliability to meet campers’ multiple requirements for safety, comfort and practicality. The development of composite RV floors not only ensures the reliability of all aspects of performance, but also greatly reduces the manufacturing cost of builders and the procurement and maintenance costs of users.

TOPOLOGROUP composite RV flooring adopts a multi-layer composite sandwich panel structure, which is composed of vinyl leather, FRP sheet, plywood, foam core or honeycomb core and frame material. This composite structure not only enhances the strength of the floor, but also effectively reduces the weight, while improving durability and comfort. For different types of RVs, users can choose foam core floor or honeycomb core floor according to their needs.

Foam Core RV Flooring

Foam core flooring provides excellent thermal insulation and is very suitable for RVs that need to camp in cold environments. It can effectively isolate the external low temperature, keep the internal warmth, and improve living comfort. It is especially suitable for winter camping or RVs in high-cold areas.

Honeycomb Core RV Flooring

Honeycomb core flooring is particularly suitable for users who pursue lightweight RVs due to its excellent strength and lightweight characteristics. The honeycomb structure not only maintains high-strength support, but also greatly reduces the weight of the floor, helping RVs reduce fuel consumption and improve sports performance while ensuring safety.

Details

  • Vinyl leather: It is soft and has a smooth surface. It not only provides a comfortable foot experience, but also is very easy to clean. Its texture is rich and varied, and you can choose the floor texture that complies with your RV style.
  • FRP sheet: It is made of a mixture of glass fiber and resin matrix. It is corrosion-resistant, waterproof and insulating. It can effectively isolate the infiltration of external moisture and protect the internal core material.
  • Foam core: PET (polyethylene terephthalate) or XPS (extruded polystyrene) foam is usually used. They are closed rigid foams with good waterproof effect.
  • Honeycomb core: Usually thermoplastic PP (polypropylene) honeycomb is used. Because of its low density and high structural strength, it can greatly reduce the weight of the floor.
  • Plywood: Marine plywood with waterproof treatment is used to provide more protection for the interior of the floor.
  • Frame material: Various frame materials (wood, metal profiles, high-strength plastic profiles, etc.) can improve the structural strength of RV flooring and carry more weight.

Surface Pattern

The look of vinyl leather mimics the grain of various woods, but because it is a synthetic material, it is more durable, easier to clean, and more water-resistant than real wood.

High-precision Machining for RV Flooring

On the high-precision CNC machining platform, the preliminarily completed RV floor is pre-processed according to the design drawings for drilling, cutting, engraving and other processes. Usually the following requirements are met:

  • The edges of the RV floor are flat and neat.
  • Pre-process the installation positions of other equipment.
