Stainless steel reefer truck bodies are a popular choice for transporting temperature-sensitive goods due to their durability, corrosion resistance, and ability to maintain optimal conditions. These truck bodies are designed with an insulated core and stainless steel exterior, providing a combination of strength and temperature control.

Details

  • Skin: Mirror SS 304 stainless steel.
  • Insulation core: XPS (extruded polystyrene) or PU (polyurethane) foam.

Product Features

  • Durability: Stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion, making it ideal for use in environments where the truck body may be exposed to harsh weather, moisture, and chemicals.
  • Insulation: The refrigerated truck body uses high-quality insulation materials such as polyurethane foam to ensure consistent temperatures within the cargo area.
  • Easy to maintain: Stainless steel is relatively easy to maintain, requiring only basic cleaning to prevent rust or dirt buildup. Additionally, the smooth surface makes it easier to disinfect, which is critical for transporting food and medical supplies.
  • Strength: Stainless steel provides the structural strength needed to support heavy loads and handle the stress of long-distance travel. This makes it a good choice for businesses that need reliable and durable trucks.

  • Aerodynamics.

CKD/SKD/CBU

When transporting truck bodies or trailers to different destinations, manufacturers often use different assembly forms to optimize costs, assembly time, and import duties.

  • CKD (Completely Knocked Down)

Box bodies are completely disassembled into individual parts or components. Kits are shipped to the destination in a knocked down state where they are assembled into a finished product.

  • SKD (Semi Knocked Down)

The partially assembled box body is shipped to the destination in parts and assembled. Usually, CKD requires fewer parts to be shipped than SKD, so it is more cost-effective.

  • CBU (Completely Built-Up)

The box body is fully assembled and can be installed on the chassis after being transported to the destination.
