01 Details

Outer Galvanized Steel Layer

The outer surface is made from galvanized steel, which is known for its excellent resistance to corrosion and provides durability. This layer acts as the structural component, offering strength and protection from external elements. Galvanized steel sheets have been coated with a layer of zinc to protect them from corrosion. This coating is typically applied through a process called hot-dip galvanizing, where the steel is immersed in molten zinc. Galvanized steel sheets are widely used in various industries due to their strength, durability, and resistance to rust. Steel sheets coated with a mixture of zinc (Zn) and aluminum (Al), known as Galvalume steel, have superior corrosion resistance compared to conventional galvanized steel, especially at high temperatures and in harsh environmental conditions.

Core Insulation (XPS Foam)

The middle layer is made from extruded polystyrene foam (XPS), which is known for its high thermal insulation properties. XPS foam has low thermal conductivity, making it an ideal material for maintaining temperature regulation in environments that require insulation.

Performance Parameters

  • Density: 35-50kg/m³.
  • Thermal Conductivity: 0.025-0.035W/m·K.
  • Compressive Strength: 200-700 kPa.
  • Tensile Strength: 500–1000 kPa.
  • Water Absorption: <0.5%.
  • Dimensional Stability: <1.5%.
  • Flame Retardant: Grade B1-B2.
  • Operating Temperature Range: -50°C to +75°C.

Common Applications

  • Refrigeration: Used in refrigerated vehicles and cold storage equipment to keep the goods at the required temperature during transportation and storage.
  • Buildings: Used in walls, partitions, ceilings, etc. of modular buildings.
